Our most popular ashes casket is now available in Bamboo!
As a company, we care about the sourcing of our products and the effect that our products have on the environment. To this end, PCS has been working closely with our suppliers to offer our customers the choice of new products from more sustainable sources.
We are pleased to announce that, as of 1st February 2023, we will be replacing our existing V05 Casket (made from natural wood) with a new casket made from fast and natural growing bamboo.
The new Bamboo Casket is available in six different sizes and you can view and order the new Bamboo Casket (V05a) here.
Why choose bamboo?
- Bamboo is more eco-friendly than traditional woods.
- It is sourced from Moso Bamboo - a fast-growing plant that requires no pesticides or herbicides.
- Using bamboo also gives a smoother and more uniform finish to the casket.
We hope this provides our customers, pet owners and veterinary practices with a more environmentally responsible choice.
Please note that the existing Natural Wood Casket will still be available as an additional option as we believe that choice is important.
