Losing one’s pet is a traumatic event that owners all process differently. In many instances, a pet owner may feel emotionally unable to bring their pet to a crematorium or may simply be unable to move them, or have access to suitable transport.
To help all our clients PCS Essex Pet Crematorium has launched a home collection service, giving pet owners an affordable, easy-to-use and dignified service for the collection and transport of their pets to our crematorium.
After a client’s initial call to make the arrangements, our highly-trained staff will arrive at the pet owner's address at a mutually agreeable time, discuss the services available and then transport their pet with dignity from the client’s home to the crematorium.
Collections will be available within a 45 mile radius of our Essex crematorium (please see our map for more information), and the collection cost will be advised at the time of the booking. Any client taking advantage of the home collection service will be advised that their beloved pet's ashes will be available to collect, or returned home at an additional cost, within three working days.
PCS remains committed to supporting its clients at some of their most difficult times, and our home collection service is the latest in our list of services we offer to help clients process the loss of a pet as easily as possible.
